The Life of Mrs. Mary Young Ramsey

 Mrs. Mary Young Ramsey was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Felix Young Sr., and Willie Mae Young on March 12, 1949 in Wilcox County, Georgia.

She received her early education in Wilcox County public schools. She was a faithful choir member for eighteen years at the Kings Chapel Baptist Church. Her favorite song was “I’ve had my share of up and downs”. She joined in Holy Matrimony to her late husband Mr. Charlie Bell Sr. and to this union four children were born. One proceeded her in death; Fred Bell. Later she met and married Mr. Mike Ramsey of Ocilla, Georgia.

Mary was called to eternal home on July 2, 2018 at Macon Medical Center. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memories are three children: Charlie (Joan) Bell Jr., Vivian Belmer, Venson (Joyce) Bell. Three step-children: Ricky (Latrese) Young, Renae Belmer all of Fitzgerald, Georgia and Raymond Gamige of Daytona Beach, Florida. 16 grand-children and 38 Great grandchildren. Sisters: Loretta (Elijah) Holland, Velessa (Johnny) Williams, Pearly Walker all of Abbeville, Georgia. Martha Young, Katie Mae Young of Daytona Beach, Florida. Ruby Young of Fitzgerald, Ga and Rosie Swain whom proceeded her in death. Brothers: Charles (Queen) Cook, Melvin Tisdol both of Abbeville, Georgia. Willie and Henry Young both proceed her in death. Two sister in laws: Ida B. Bell and Nadine Sheppard. Two brother in laws: Cleo Paulk and Roffie Sheppard all of Fitzgerald, Georgia. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
